With Father’s Day quickly approaching (June 19th in case you were wondering) it’s time to let dads have the spotlight for a moment. There’s no doubt that reaching the all-important “social mom” tends to dominate conversations among marketers. While moms are a key resource to driving conversation and sales, brands should not ignore another huge word-of-mouth influence channel – the dad.
Today’s dads are social, vocal and see their online world as a communal resource to help them make decisions. From parenting help to choosing what products and services to buy, dads rely on social networks as a central part of the buyer journey.
In an effort to understand dads better this Father’s Day, we surveyed social dads among our Smiley360 consumer influencer community to understand how dads think and behave on social. Check out the infographic below for the results!
